This is our "bolshov" babe, Nysa, who travelled many miles to come and live with us. Unfortunately the colder English climate has done nothing for her coatwise, so we have not been able to show her as much as we would have liked. Her excellent type and conformation have not been affected :-) Nysa has a wonderful sunny disposition, and as you can see from the many photographs on this site, she loves the camera, and the camera loves her!

We were determined to start showing again in 2011, but found ourselves without a suitable Sphynx to show. However the New Year brought with it news of a potential new show baby from very good lines. After many weeks of assessing and re-assessing all the kittens in the litter, many photos and phone calls later, we finally made our decision, and Luca came home. He immediately befriended both of our Dobermans, who were very patient with the little upstart who dared to play in their food dishes. Luca has a huge voice and isn't afraid to use it :-) He likes being with people, food, and has a peculiar fascination with potatoes and Xena's ears. We absolutely adore him!
This is Ozzy, our black and tan dobermann, and gentle giant. Ozzy is everyone's friend, and our constant guardian and loyal companion. Love you, Oz :-))
Xena is our beautiful brown and tan dobermann girl, although younger than Ozzy, she is very much the boss. Always has to be first at everything, and insists that Ozzy gives her all the toys all of the time! Luckily Ozzy doesn't mind being hen-pecked! Xena is however, very much a mummy's girl! XX
And talking of hens.....

.....we also keep chickens! All of our hens are either ex-battery hens or
have come via the RSPCA, rescued from distressing circumstances. It's
wonderful to see them blossom from featherless birds frightened of the big
outdoors, into the confident bossy little hens they are now. They have
very distinct personalities, and are great fun to keep, as well as giving us
a regular supply of delicious free range eggs.
