About Us

We show our cats with the premier cat registry in the UK, the GCCF.  The GCCF only recognised the Sphynx breed officially in 2006, and gave them Preliminary Recognition.  This meant that although our Sphynx could not compete against each other, they could each be judged against the GCCF Standard of Points, and if worthy, win Merit Certificates.    In 2009, the Sphynx were promoted to Provisional Recognition, and at long last Sphynx were able to compete against each other for Intermediate Certificates.  In March 2011 the Sphynx were finally granted Championship status, and from June 1st 2011, could compete for Champion and other titles just the same as other well known breeds of cats.

Future Plans

We have supported the Sphynx within the GCCF since 2005, when we could only place our cats on exhibition.  Right from the start, there was huge interest in the breed, and their popularity quickly grew.  Now that Sphynx have finally progressed to Championship, we  look forward to showing our beautiful cats in competition.  We feel that this can only benefit the breed, and help to raise overall standards.  Sphynx are wonderful show cats, they have the most wonderful temperament, and seem to really enjoy their days out.  Of course, they are avid crowd pullers, and certainly attract a lot of attention - something no self respecting Sphynx can do without!
